Custom Rugs for Crown Sydney’s stunning Penthouse

Grounded Rugs are delighted to share images of the custom rugs recently designed for the Crown Penthouse suite, Crown Sydney, Barangaroo.

​​Working with Crown's lead interior design team, the final selections for this incredible property included a custom oval shape of Grounded's exclusive "Federal" design. This beautiful design, in certifiable sustainable TENCEL Lyocell, is hand cut to represent the contours of the land, in an exquisite elephant taupe.

​Under the dining table, a custom size Bass Prussian Blue in TENCEL Lyocell, was selected by Crown and hand dyed to exact specifications to complement the spectacular blue of Sydney Harbour. The beauty of TENCEL is that the fibre plays with light to create movement and mood, working beautifully with the light reflecting off the harbour and the majestic interior fixtures.
